Request revalidation

On Starmind, helping ensure content up-to-date and accurate is a huge priority - that's why answers have an option to select if they expire.

Selecting when an answer expires means how long you can guarantee your answer is valid.

If you need to know whether an Expired answer is still valid, you can easily request Revalidation.

To ask the question author if their answer is still valid, select Requestion validation, and a notification will be sent to the question author. They can then update their answer or extend the expiration date.

Revalidate your own answer

If you're the author simply select the Revalidate button on the top of the answer. Then choose how long the answer will be valid. It's an easy way to let others know they can still use your answer.
