This release keeps your network more responsive and relevant: members are now notified when new questions appear in their Knowledge Spaces, and topic extraction has been improved to better reflect your company's domain.


1. Knowledge Space Notifications

New questions in followed Knowledge Spaces now trigger automatic notifications

🚀 What's new

Starmind now notifies users when a new question is posted in a Knowledge Space they follow. Notifications are delivered via email and in-app, through the existing "New question that might interest me" channel — the same one used for topic subscriptions. No configuration is required; the behaviour is active by default.

  • **Higher response rates: **Members are prompted at the moment a question is posted, reducing the time questions go unanswered.
  • No new notification channel to manage: The feature reuses an existing notification type, so user preferences apply without changes.

⚙️ How it works:

When a question is posted in a Knowledge Space, Starmind identifies users who follow that space and queues a notification through the "New question that might interest me" channel. Delivery (email, in-app, or both) is determined by each user's existing notification preferences.

⚙️ How it works:

When content is processed for topic extraction, the AI filter now receives your company description as part of its context. This grounds its decisions in your specific domain, making extracted topics more relevant and precise.

🚀 Getting started:

  1. No action required. The improvement applies automatically.
  2. If your company description isn't set up yet, add it in your Admin area > Settings > Network.
  3. Watch for improved topic suggestions and expert recommendations in the coming days.
