Changelog
16.2.26: Improved features
We now display users' emails and departments in the recommendation dialogue for greater clarity.
📣 Profile update nudge
We’ve added a helpful nudge to the Home so users know when their expertise profile was updated by Starmind. It encourages them to review and refresh their profile to ensure their expertise is accurate and credible.
📣 Verified expertise
You can now designate verified experts for important knowledge areas (e.g., high-risk or sensitive topics).
17.11.25: Improved features
- If your integration links directly to the Ask Question view, you can now prefill the Knowledge Space and category fields. For example: https://yourNetworkName.starmind.com/ask?title=question&knowledgeSpaceId=1&categoryId=1
- We fixed a minor bug that prevented users from accepting their own answers.
📣 Setting for your company description
Admin users can now add a company description in the network settings (Admin area) that will be used to train our AI models for improved understanding of your company-specific topics.
11.11.25: Improved features
The topics users have pinned in their Expertise Profile now get a boost in expert search, including their existing pins.
3.11.25: Improved Features
- It’s now easier to explore topics! We’ve rearranged the modules on the Topic Explorer page for a more intuitive browsing experience.
- The answered questions ratio displayed in the Overview and Counts tab of the Analytics dashboard has been updated to exclude deleted questions. This change ensures that reported metrics more accurately reflect active and relevant data. For any questions regarding this update, please contact your Account Manager.
- We've improved the step where new users set up their expertise profile during onboarding: When no topic recommendations are available (based on job title or department), we now provide subtle hints directly in the topic search field instead of showing generic suggestions. In addition, the number of required topics has been reduced from five to three. These changes make it easier and more intuitive for new users to get started with Starmind.
13.10.25: Improved features
- Fixed several bugs related to expertise profile management.
- The search overview page now shows which topics are used for the expert search in the expert module.
- When admin users exclude topics from being suggested on the topic management page, those topics are now also removed from all existing questions and answers.
- Improved how global topics from the Starmind ontology are integrated into the network.
📣 Full control over expertise profiles
Users now have full control over their expertise profiles. They can manually add topics, hide them from their profile, or remove them entirely.
