The topics users have pinned in their Expertise Profile now get a boost in expert search, including their existing pins.

Improved

3.11.25: Improved Features

  • It’s now easier to explore topics! We’ve rearranged the modules on the Topic Explorer page for a more intuitive browsing experience.
  • The answered questions ratio displayed in the Overview and Counts tab of the Analytics dashboard has been updated to exclude deleted questions. This change ensures that reported metrics more accurately reflect active and relevant data. For any questions regarding this update, please contact your Account Manager.
  • We've improved the step where new users set up their expertise profile during onboarding: When no topic recommendations are available (based on job title or department), we now provide subtle hints directly in the topic search field instead of showing generic suggestions. In addition, the number of required topics has been reduced from five to three. These changes make it easier and more intuitive for new users to get started with Starmind.

  • Improved how global topics from the Starmind ontology are integrated into the network.

12.6.25: Improved features

  • Over the last weeks, we improved the Topics page to help you better understand how teams work together. The latest update adds a new graph that shows how topics are connected through real-world collaboration and how expertise flows between people, projects, and tools.
  • We've officially removed the Insights page. The old "skill wheel" can now be found on the Topics page, as mentioned above.
