MS Sharepoint Connector

Overview

The MS Sharepoint Connector extracts topics from published Sharepoint documents to enrich the expertise profiles of authors associated with those documents. Starmind does not store any textual information from the documents and will only retain the extracted expertise topics.

Data Starmind learns from

The data that the connector has access to is defined by a technical user account. The connector will only read from the documents in groups where the technical user is a member. By default, the connector will only access documents in public groups. The connector can be configured to also read from private groups if necessary.
