Help keep quality content on your network
Some tips on how to keep content on your network high-quality
Rating an answer is a great way to provide feedback to the answer author. Rating answers help to keep the quality of the content on your network high.
Rating is entirely anonymous to help users feel safe to provide honest feedback. This means your name will remain anonymous to the question author and administrators when rating an answer.
To rate an answer, click on the stars visible on the answer card.
On Starmind, helping ensure content up-to-date and accurate is a huge priority - that's why answers have an option to select if they expire.
If you need to know whether an expired answer is still valid, you can easily request Revalidation.
To ask the question author if their answer is still valid, select Requestion validation, and a notification will be sent to the question author. They can then update their answer or extend the expiration date.
If you're the author simply select the Revalidate button on the top of the answer. Then choose how long the answer will be valid. It's an easy way to let others know they can still use your answer.
When this feature is activated on your network, you can report questions that are inappropriate or outside of your community's guidelines. Question reporters are anonymous.
Reporting inappropriate questions helps keep the content on your network constructive.
If a question is reported, a notification is sent to admin users. Those notified will have the option to deactivate the question themselves. Questions reported by three different users will be automatically deactivated.
